As a result of this bribery, our freedom and liberty is now at great risk.
And lastly, as a result of this bribery, freedom of the press is rapidly becoming a thing of the past — in this nation's greatest newspapers, propaganda and lies now substitute for the truth.

A lot has been said so far about Howard Dean's run for the White House. I have to admit he is absolutely correct in heaping criticism on the Bush regime's failure in regards to the economy, and foreign policy.
Dean is not alone, a number of his fellow Democratic candidates are also of the same mind. However, If any of these men were elected they would be stopped dead in their tracks.
Let me explain. Having followed the political scene for decades I have come to the conclusion that our system of government has become nothing more then a criminal enterprise, legal only because the criminals in the government have the power to make it so.

When lobbyists, including those of foreign countries, representing powerful and wealthy interests, shamelessly line up at the offices of our elected representatives in Washington, offering bribes disguised as campaign contributions in order to sway the votes of a congressman or senator against the common good of the people, why bother voting anymore? Will we be able to vote out the lobbyists along with the candidates? No, you cannot, they will not let you.

No, it matters not who you vote for, it is who you can buy and sell in Washington which matters. Things are only getting worse for the average American, while business as usual continues along the Potomac — the business of the connected, the wealthy, those who buy influence.
Those reform-minded individuals who wish to do good for their country will fail, so powerful and entrenched is the corruption. A few new faces in the Congress or the White House will change nothing.
What is needed is the removal of all those who would corrupt the men and women entrusted to carry out the will of the American people.
Just as Jesus threw the money changers out of the temple, so then must "We the People" throw out the money changers in the temple of government!
