If we had the opportunity to vote in a referendum to send our jobs overseas, would you vote yes? Of course not!
If on the same referendum we were asked to vote for lower wages, no health care, and to repeal laws protecting our rights as workers, would you vote yes? You damned well know you would not!
Then why the hell do we insist on electing candidates, Republican or Democrat, who will continue to send our jobs out of the country by the millions? Why do we, every four years, vote to perpetuate a political system which clearly no longer represents the average American?
We have always been told that if we want to change things we have to get out and vote. But what good is our vote when those we elect refuse to work for the common good, only to further the agenda of the corporate elite?
As long as this situation is allowed to exist our vote will only be used against us. Don't forget, when we go out to vote we justify the actions of those we elect.
It is becoming painfully obvious to more and more of us that voting has become a fraud, a waste of time, as our political system is firmly in the grip of corporate bribery. The only thing left to do for those of us who realize that our government has been hi-jacked is to boycott the election. Do not vote! Do not give these corrupt, lying, traitors what they want.
As long as 50%, 40%, or even as low as 30% of us vote, the Washington insiders will still define the results as a mandate to continue ripping us off. I will not vote -- as I refuse to contribute to my own economic ruin, or to that of my countrymen. And I appeal to all of you who are still thinking of voting to sit this one out.
Change is only possible if enough of us stop playing their game. Therefore, don't vote!
Ignore them as they have ignored us.
Send the political whores and their corporate pimps a message they can no longer ignore. Boycott the election!
