Your fathers, your sons, your daughters, are nothing but cannon fodder to be used and abused on some distant battlefield to ensure the continuance of corporate profit.
Continued casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan, mostly poor white and minorities, mean little to the wheeler-dealers and power brokers on Capitol Hill.

This last week the Democratic presidential candidate, John Kerry stated
that if he is elected he would send forty thousand more troops to Iraq.
Is this man out of his mind?
Why would anyone want to add to the
colossal foreign policy disaster G.W. Bush has created? Doesn't Mr.
Kerry remember the Vietnam War, where he saw for himself the folly of
armed intervention against a people willing to fight and die against a
foreign invader for as long as it takes?
Or has he conveniently
forgotten the lessons of Vietnam in order to make himself more
acceptable to the big oil companies, the military/industrial complex,
and of course, the powerful Israeli lobby?
No doubt Mr. Kerry, like
the
rest of the Washington crowd, has long ago accepted the usual bribery,
oops, I mean campaign contributions, which is most likely the reason he
does not demand an immediate withdrawal of all US forces and those of
the so-called coalition. This demand, unfortunately, will never come
from the lips of Mr. Kerry.
He, like most of his peers in Washington,
put politics and money before anything else in the world. Truth,
decency, and especially loyalty to ones fellow citizens, the average
working man, mean nothing to Mr. Kerry, or to Mr. Bush, Cheney, Rice,
Wolfowitz, and for that matter, most of the members of both houses of
Congress.
Your fathers, your sons, your daughters, are nothing but
cannon fodder to be used and abused on some distant battlefield to
ensure the continuance of corporate profit. Continued casualties in
Iraq
and Afghanistan, mostly poor white and minorities, mean little to the
wheeler-dealers and power brokers on Capitol Hill.
Call the troops heroes,
get
them buried, and everything is fine. Nobody but their loved ones will
bother to remember them. Oh, by the way, sorry surviving heroes, but we
had to cut your veterans benefits some more. After all, these are hard
times we are living in.
Mr. Kerry says, if he is elected, he will create
ten million new jobs. He, like the current occupant in the White House
is a liar. He is one of the biggest supporters of "free trade," having voted
many times in favor of pro free trade legislation contrary to the
interests of American workers.
If you do not believe Mr. Kerry has been
quietly screwing the American worker, please go to the internet and
punch in Senator Kerry's voting record on free trade.
So what have we
got
here in Mr. Kerry? As far as I can see, he's just a democratic version of GW
Bush and company.
OK, there is one difference: John Kerry did not dodge
the draft. But then, neither did tens of millions of other Americans.
Other than this, I see no reason why Mr Kerry should be seriously
considered as a positive alternative to the status quo.
Bush vs. Kerry? They both
stink!
