You know, the same ghost we saw for a moment in Mogadishu. You remember when they were dragging our dead boys through the streets. They even made a movie about it.

Some say this is the same ghost which haunted Lyndon Johnson all the way to his grave. I understand Johnson grew his hair long after he was out of office. It didn't help. The ghost stayed till the end.

For a brief moment Ronald Reagan saw the ghost when the Marine barracks went up in smoke in Lebanon.

Bill Clinton saw the ghost in Somalia, when the Rangers were pinned down by Aidid's militia. Some say Clinton lost his nerve.

Hey, GW, have you seen the ghost yet?

I understand the ghost has been seen in the darkened streets of Baghdad and on the road to Fallujah.

The ghost has also been seen in the rubble of Kabul and along the border with Pakistan. He's been seen in the blood soaked hospital corridors in Iraq and on the military transport planes bringing home the dead and wounded.

He's been seen standing next to the grieving widows, the fatherless children, the horrified parents numb with shock. They see the ghost.

C'mon, Dubya! you must have seen the ghost by now! I heard he's been seen peering out a window at the White House. Some say he's been walking amongst the cowards in the Senate building. Latest talk is he has been reported in the corporate headquarters of Shell, Bechtel and Halliburton.

OK, Dubya, so you haven't seen the ghost yet ... You will.
