Publishing Unknown News requires lots of work and more money than we have. Your support keeps this website alive. To raise rather urgently-needed funds, we offer subscriptions and sell some substantially strange things: Weird books, bumper stickers, tuna-fish sandwiches, genuine art, the Bill of Rights on a business card, refreshing beverages, and we will type, edit, and proofread for you. We sell advertising at ridiculously reasonable rates to anyone doing anything that's not abhorrent. Our eyes get wet on those rare occasions when gifts, pledges, or donations come from people who believe what we're doing is worth doing. And sometimes we wish upon a star. Wishing doesn't usually make things happen, though. So we work our rears off, seriously, and often we're seriously in arrears. If you can help financially, you could make this ol' dame and her husband very happy. |
If you can't help financially, you can be a big, big help by simply spreading the word. Are there are people in your life who might appreciate what we do? Please tell them we exist! The news is unknown, but the site needn't be, so please, tell friends, enemies, strangers, family, newsgroups, mailing lists, and so on. Send a memo. Scrawl graffiti. Rent a billboard. Call talk radio stations. Make a t-shirt. Use your imagination, and spread the word! And maybe this idea's obvious too, but — if you come across any interesting and apropos "unknown news" in your websurfing, please send it in. Our guidelines for link suggestions are here. Or if you'd like to be a bit more involved with the work behind the scenes here, believe me, there are plenty of chores to be done, and we'd love some help.
